My Thoughts:
I really enjoyed this book. The writing was good and easy to understand and the story was interesting and kept me glued to the book.
I really liked the whole “Imaginary Friend” concept. It was a very new topic from what I’m used to with my vampire and werewolf infatuation. I also really liked how Michael and Jane had a stronger connection than Michael did with any of the other children. I really liked Jane’s personality. Her snippy little comment “I’m only eight years old. How about I promise to be anorexic later?” made me laugh.
I liked the Jane and Michael game. I thought that it was cute and I often find myself playing the game now 🙂
I really liked the suspense. I was anxious to see what was coming next and it had me reading so fast that I finished it in less than a day.
The ending was my favorite part. “You’re such a girl” “I am a girl, silly.”
I didn’t really like Michael’s love of Corinne Bailey Ray. I made him seem a bit girly to me. And Owen. He didn’t really seem to fit in the story and had me wondering why he was even included.
I liked the concept of Hugh McGrath but not him personally. I liked how he played into the story…I just hated his guts LOL
The book was highly entertaining and I fell in love with Michael from the very first moment. I laughed, I cried, and I was utterly speechless at times…all reactions of which I love to experience while reading a great book.
I highly recomend you go out and get a copy! I finished it in less than a day…my eyes were glued to the pages!
